So You Love Seeing Peoples Struggling?

I was tapping over Instagram stories and encountered this post from a friend:

It was a screenshot from a post from Liz + Mollie, you can pay them a visit here.

People were agreeing with this chart, they even clapped and praise the chart creators. Most of the opinions were commenting about the falsity in social media. It got me thinking, what is wrong with that chart? There is nothing wrong with that. This chart is completely a true fact and it is okay.

For me, sharing things on social media is like sharing things in general. As a human, you want to share good things, great memories and achievement. Some people might love to share their "Really Hard Things" experience, but most of us preferred to share "Amazing Things".

Do netizens expect us to share our struggles? Do they really want to see when a family were financially broke and have to sell things for food? Do they want to see videos of a couple arguing? Does seeing our pain, tears and blood makes them happy?

A photo of frustrated parents of toddlers doesn't need to be shared with the world. A family member that just relapsed does not need your eyeballs.

If you think that you need to see "really hard things" over "amazing things", then my friend, you've been watching soap operas and reality shows too long.
